on purpose.
Authentically Me began the way most honest things do. Quietly, in a journal, in the hands of a woman trying to remember who she was before the world told her who to be.

Monica founded Authentically Me to create the products she'd always wished existed. Affirmation journals, notepads and apparel that centered Black women in their full, soft, ambitious, becoming selves.
Each cover is illustrated by hand. Each prompt is written from lived experience. The line is built on a single belief: you are already walking in your authentic purpose. The journal just helps you notice.
Today, Authentically Me is carried by dreamers, founders, students, mothers and ministers across the country. The products are made in small batches with intention and a whole lot of love.
"I wanted to make something a woman could hold in her hands and feel seen. Not sold to. Seen."
